I guess I learned something new today. Around here in the south of Wisconsin, you dont' take ticks very lightly - prime area to catch some lyme disease.

The pesky critters are just getting their year started. Along Superior and in open areas, it's usually not bad, but go inland and it could be another story. Some mosquitoes for certain and it's also black fly season (they're hit or miss). Maybe late frosts and cold weather will beat them back some this year.
