Tortuga, I believe you're right. If you look at the second pic, you can see the dock on the peninsula that is on the south side of Snug Harbor.

I'll try and keep this thread going. I'm out of pictures I took, so I'll try something new. Here's a snipet of an aerial pic that I found on the web. The camp is located someplace in this photo.

I concur. That "V" curvature shoreline next to the that island is a pretty good giveaway.

We could show pictures of sections of trails and then guess the trail. I've actually been collecting a whole lot of these as I have a video project in mind. Almost everything I have is plagiarized though (several are even from current contributors here).

I wondered about plagiarizing. I’m out of campground pics though I found several on the web that would be ideal. But since I didn’t take them, I’ve been reluctant to use them. Maybe if we gave credit to the photographer.

New campground. Lost a nice lake trout on those rocks... too impatient.

That is absolutely correct .

Only reason I knew it was Merritt Lane was because we paddled there last August.
