Although I can't say for sure, I think we were listening to an FM station. And while I mentioned the "Numbers Station" I don't really believe that's what it was...it just sounded good as a comical/sarcastic comment. I've heard some of those kinds of broadcasts (they're on the internet) and this music didn't sound anything like that. We both figured it was probably a pirate station. Although, it didn't have a Caribbean sound to it....You didn't say what band you were listening to (AM or FM), but a numbers station on either band is unlikely.
