Re: Guess What Campground? Chapter II.
I agree your popularity hint suggests McCargoe Cove but I can't picture or locate where that vertical rock face would be, McCargoe Cove and Chicken Bone Lake are along a fault line, but the Sun shadows would indicate the rock face is facing pretty much North. Due to the lack of lichen halfway up the face it appears the water level is just off the lower edge of the picture. Or I could be over thinking it.

Not McCargoe either. LOTS of people go here (without camping). Here's a little wider shot with another clue:

I was pretty good on the cliff description anyway. Entrance to Tobin Harbor it is then? Is that distant cabin on Minong Island? If we could pan up would we see the Artist in Residence cabin?

The tip of Scoville Point. So the cliff at the very bottom of your photo. I'm not sure if that's the artist in residence cabin, but it's right around where your circle is.

Then the cabin in the background the behind the AiR cabin. The AiR cabin is up on a cliff of it's own. That's what threw me. These are screen captures from Google Earth.

Neither one of those. Since we've sort of exhausted campground pictures, you need to widen the search. I think the trail will suffice.

It is on the Stoll trail, looking SW toward Snug harbor.

Bingo. No more clues needed.
Here's a couple of other Stoll Trail photos. I liked them for their unusual accouterment.

I have taken the same photo, as the initial picture.

So here is another submission for those interested.

Re: Guess What Campground? Chapter II.
Is somebody build a cabin or are they just letting the logs dry out? Looks like that's the "amphitheater" seating for Ranger talks.

You are too good Midwest Ed!
I ate the thimbleberry after its' photo shoot.
Midwest Ed, you are up. I thought I would add another, of a busy Snug Harbor view.
A lot going on in this shot.
