Re: Submissions for PICTURE OF THE WEEK go here
How do I get my picture resized to fit. It says it's too big. Furthermore, where is the "host it" button? Very confusing to me...
Thanks,
Chad

Re: Submissions for PICTURE OF THE WEEK go here
I figured it out and this is what I did : Assuming your computer has this, It's pretty simple. When viewing the photo you want to submit (through Windows picture viewer or just the file browser) Right click on the picture and there should be {OPEN WITH} tab you can choose, then select Microsoft Office Picture Manager from the next pop up menu. Your picture will open up in, then click the EDIT PICTURES BUTTON above the photo. From there click RESIZE. Now in the PRE_DEFINED WIDTH & HEIGHT tab and from there you should pick (usually) WEB - LARGE 640 X 840. Now save the file as a different name then the original and it should be small enough to use for this web site. The file can't be more then 256KB so if it is still larger then that , you go back to Picture manager and decrease size by clicking box PERCENTAGE OF ORIGINAL WIDTH X HEIGHT. Decrease minimally and click OK. Hope this helps. by the way I just figured it out myself, and it's very quick to do. Can't wait to see your PICTURES! Ray
