Hello all, I thought I would remind you that the winter study is starting up this week. You can follow the study here: http://www.isleroyalewolf.org/

Click on "Winter Study" on the left menu and you will be good to go. This will be my third year following the research, and I really enjoy their updates. Check them out, and you might as well.

Excellent! I've been waiting for the new one to start for a while now. I just checked a few days ago to see when it was going to begin.

The study is finished (not the report). Some fascinating reading. It reads like a novel with plot lines and such going on. Very entertaining and informative.

I just saw yesterday that the study was over for the year. I really enjoyed reading those periodic updates and you're right, it read like a novel because there were a couple different mini stories wrapped up into the whole study. Fascinating stuff. It must be odd for those guys to study the animals every day for all those weeks only to leave the island without final answers to some of the "stories" they were following on a daily basis, knowing they may only learn the final conclusions the following year if all goes well.
