we are coming to the Island for the first time Sat 8/7, departing sat 8/14. I am trying a food drop at
Chippewa. I mailed the package to Grand Portage Post office, and should be put on the boat on
Monday 8/9. They will drop it on Tue 8/10 if all goes well. We plan to arrive there Tue pm to pick it up.
If for some reason unknown we are unable to get there, weather, injury,illness,...then it is up for grabs.

You might want to double check with them about dropping a package when you will not be there to accept it.
