Total Cost for 5-6 nights (Approx.) including travel to/from

Hi,
I'm in the beginning stages of planning a trip to IR with some family members. I know the cost depends on a lot of variables, but roughly how much would you budget for the entire trip, per person?

Hello Ryan,
Welcome. Depending which boat you take to the island, you will spend roughly $130 a piece give or take a few dollars for round trip. You will spend $4.OO a day including the days you arrive and the day you leave while you are on the island. If you plan on using dehydrated food, which is the best route to go, you will spend anywhere between $4.00 and 8.00 a meal. You can supplement breakfast and lunch with other good stuff as mentioned here in the forums. Tent clothing and pack are all sky is the limit. You would be suprised that most stuff you already have works well and many people have things for backpacking you can either borrow or purchase as they don't use them anymore.
