Just joined the Board. My son and I are hiking the Minong on 6/22-26. Any recent reports on bugs?

I'll be on the V2 with you. I'll share some stories from my Minong trip (2010) with you two. Check out my trip report from last year. I was on the Minong in late June. Last year the black flys were bad at McCargoe. Then the Minnesota and Michigan state bird (those blood suckers) were bad from there until we hit Windigo. I'll be heading to Rock Harbor with a trip to Chippewa Harbor in the plans. I'll be the old man that needs a shave. jerry

My trip report is about 1/2 way down the first page of the Trip Report tab. Topic is June/July 2010 Minong. Also under the General Questions and Misc. tab on the second page look for Minong. Lots of pictures and comments were given to me in that post.

I don't know about the rest of the forum members, but I'm dizzy. At first I wondered why Jerry kept replying to his own posts. Don't worry. I finally caught on. Now I'm just waiting for JerryC to register...

Tom, Can't wait for this Jerry and JerryB to submit our trip reports. We might submit replies to those posts also.
