Sept. 23 - Sept. 26

Went on Queen. Got sick. Stupid off-brand seasick meds. Stayed at Rock. Temps in 60s. Some mosquitoes. Only campers there Fri and Sat. Lots of stars. Read a book. Nosed around Lodge area. Short hike. Brought folding chairs. Fog Sunday. Queen Monday - rough. Took real Dramamine. No problem. Dinner at Mariner North.

Nooo - reclining chairs wouldn't fit with the wilderness experience; these were just folding fabric chairs with the built-in drink holders.

The colors were OK, but of course mostly yellows and browns on the East end.

Bob: getting out to IR to see the fall colors has always been on my hit list. I'm glad you made it, as I will not once again.

And the lawn chairs get a +1 in my book. Nice work.

We're lucky, living just South of Calumet. We saw a window of great weather and went for it.
