I did Rock Harbor to Daisy Farm (1st day) -- you might want to plan on using the Tobin Harbor trail over the Rock Harbor trail.
Daisy Farm to McCargoe Cove (2d day)
McCargoe Cove to Todd Harbor (3d day) on the Minong Ridge Trail
Todd Harbor to Little Todd (4th day) Little Todd has a really nice, if isolated, campground
Little Todd to North Lake Desor (5th day)
North Lake Desor to Windigo (6th day)
Windigo (0 mile day) I resupplied via a mail drop of food, got a shower, and repaired/ cleaned my gear.
Windigo to South Lake Desor (8th day)
South Lake Desor to Hatchett Lake (9th day)
Hatchett Lake to West Chickenbone Lake (10th day)
WCL to Daisy Farm (11th day)
Daisy Farm (layover with a daytrip to RH and back)
Daisy Farm to RH (overnighted due to ferry not running)

The distance was something like 96 miles (somewhat more if you count the daytrip).

You could certainly do an out and back on the Greenstone in less time but the Minong has the best views (and IMO better campgrounds) and is more challenging.

You probably should plan on a mail drop unless you like the weight of 8-10 days of food in your backpack.

Doing it this May, Haven't picked a date yet. Will likely see you there.

Dunno if you were looking at my itinerary but I'll be making my way from RH to Windigo between 5/5 and 5/10. Would be neat to see a forum member on the island. I'll keep an eye out.

I've done it and would love to give you some advice and notes on the route I took, but is your plan to do the Greenstone and Minong in a circular route so you can see both trails or are you ok with double backing on the same trail you came in on. I am guessing you want to see the best of both worlds, but please confirm this so I can come up with an itinerary that fits you best. Thanks.
