I did some calculations in order to compare and analyze various aspects of the Rock Harbor Lodge Water Taxi. Here are the results:

Interesting chart. The costs are unrelated to whether they have to venture into the open waters of Lake Superior.

And, I didn't know they'd take you as far as Malone Bay or McCargoe Cove. How long do those trips take!?

LISTEN UP.

Need to double up with anyone to "do" a water taxi: RH to Chippewa on Sept 10, 2012 (arriving on Queen). One way. I've got 2 of us. Save some bucks? Please post-up if interested.

You might want to double check the water taxis. The greenstone 2012 says they close for the year September 8.

Wow. I had no idea how much it cost.

I guess I should keep quiet about giving hikers a lift from time to time. I don't want the water taxi mafia after me...

Was afraid of that. Well, not 'afraid but you know. Will check. Alternate plans.
