Lake Ritchie Canoe campsite or W. Chickenbone?

I'm trying to narrow down my itinerary for my trip in May. I don't hear too much about the Lake Ritchie canoe site and I'm debating to stay there or W.Chickenbone.

I will be bringing a packraft that will allow me to paddle to the canoe site on Ritchie. I know it will probably be more secluded, but I'm going towards the end of May and I have not run into too many folks during the early season anyway, so that's not a huge factor. I'm mainly curious on quality of view / sites. I've stayed at the W. Chickenbone site right next to the lake and that was tough to beat.....

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

If I was trying to decide for my own trip I would choose the Lk Ritchie canoe site for two reasons, it's visited less, but more importantly having already visited W Chickenbone I would want to explore and see new areas. For myself, the desire to explore new places would far outweigh any thoughts of avoiding what some may or may not consider a "less desirable" site. The fact that I have not seen the place for myself makes it "more Desireable".

The Ritchie canoe CG has 1 great site right on the water and a couple OK ones set back a little. All around a great site, even if you don't get the choice one. I'd choose it over Chickenbone, which like you said, is pretty nice.
