Grand Portage lodging note

i will be going to isle royale for the first time in august. i was going to stay at the Grand Portage Casino but was notified that there are no reservations being taken from august 9th- august 12 because they are having a pow wow...so it looks like i will stay at rydens...just thought i would give a heads up if your heading to isle royale that week
