Interesting article. After reading it and knowing only a little about the wolves, I'd say that they are far from danger of going extinct at this point which is the base goal for the endangered species act.
It's not like the wolves aren't going to be managed anymore. Now the wolf numbers would just be managed at the state level instead of the federal level. Seems like that might be better overall plan as the plans for the Rockies should be different for here in Michigan.
