nice report!
I hope to be able to paddle there some day, I am working on justifying the gear necessary. Just built a sea kayak, but haven't been able to convince the wife that I need a dry suit

Thanks. Good luck with your trip planning. Tell your wife a dry suit may save your life one day. Also, it extends your paddling season so you'll get a lot more use out of the kayak you built.
