I'll try to catch another shot when the sun is at a different angle, but for those that occasionally look at the Mott Island Web Cam, it appears one of the vessels sailing in for the Duluth Tall Ships Festival next weekend has made a pit stop:

As promised, here is a picture in better light. Undoubtedly seeing her full mast would make Admiral McCargoe proud.

Very cool! I can only imagine the amazement of anybody walking down the Rock Harbor trail seeing this old schooner docked at Mott Island.

And even more amazing to the crew was being told to leave the park. Seems they took the opportunity to dive the vessel and decided it may have have zebra muscles or some other invasive mollusk. Can't be too safe.
