Rock of Ages light house restoration

Post by fonixmunkee » Sun Mar 26, 2017 8:36 pm

Here's some really good news for the Rock of Ages lighthouse. Needless to say, I'll be signing up as a volunteer.

Also didn't even know that this preservation group existed:

I signed up as a volunteer, and apparently got accepted. My wife and I are going to be spending a week at the Rock of Ages lighthouse this summer. Any one else get in?

How cool. When are you going? Let us know how it goes. We might look into it.

Thread bump- how was your experience? We had the pleasure of meeting two of the project leads at the Ranger Station during our visit this summer, seemed like great people with a solid plan.
It's not Heaven, but they can see IR from there...
