Isle Royale Forums

For folks who wil be on the Island August 10-13th, if it is clear, make sure to take in the Perseid Meteor Showers. Isle Royale was chosen as the darkest National Park in the lower 48. It should be a great place to see the Perseids. When we go up we always check to see if there might be anything cool at night. We have seen the Northern Lights, great flybys by the Space Station or just taking in the stars.

Good info johnhens! We will be there Aug 23-26 for our first trip. Where do you check ahead to see if there is anything cool going on at night?
