I know a lot of farmers and ranchers don't like wolves, but it's too bad that they have taken on such a bad rap. They really are beautiful animals. Obviously it is not a Michigan problem, but there is a good article in the January 2009 issue of Backpacker magazine about the battle between a hunter and a scientist over killing wolves from the Toklat pack near Denali.
