Landing a kayak at Chipp. Harbor?

Where is the best kayak landing for the Chipp Harbor campground? Not obvious if there is a place to beach, or whether we are dealing with steep rock, or a high dock which I find really awkward from my kayak.

As I remember, you should be able to get around the dock and up to shore. May be a foot or two deep with the higher water. Hopefully someone will chime in with more specific info.

The dock faces pretty much south, and is a "T" configuration. You'll want to approach from the East (toward the big lake) and come in just on the right of the shrubs. (Just out of view on the left in this picture.)
I was there a just over a week ago; the water is up but the landing still mild by Isle Royale standards. The shoreline is gentle, more gravel/sand than rock. I think you could make it in on the west side, but it's a narrow chute, comparatively.

Many years back, we put in/out to the left side of the dock in Tom's photo.

I knew I had a pic. Chippewa Harbor. Should give you an idea of what to expect.

Yup. Saw a canoeist beach up in that same spot as photo above last year.
