Can anyone comment on the Island Mine Trail Conditions heading north out of the Siskiwit Bay campground? I've heard that area floods pretty easy - plus with this year's water levels, was just curious as to how it is. Heading to the island next week.

I haven't been on the trail, but I've heard the same reports. My understanding is that the boardwalk north of the Siskiwit river is underwater. There is a posting at the trail junctions on the way into Siskiwit and on the Greenstone. I'm sure Ranger Val will have the full scoop after the LNT talk. Hopefully, someone with some first hand experience will chime in.
