The park has mysteriously added a new webcam just now! It's on the Mt. Ojibway tower and is the first one in the list here: Isle Royale webcams. Looks like it's pointing west.

Every so often I check the new Ojibway Tower webcam. Strictly by chance, a moose decided to pose for the camera. Note the date stamp up top.

Examine closely, treeplanter, your moose is emplacing a flag. They don’t like this whole ‘wolf importation’ thing at all. The moose are attempting to take over (again). I hear they’ve occupied the shelters. You caught the beginning of it on tape, kudos for your vigilance. Never trust a moose or a wolf in moose clothing.
