Nice! The very first time I came to Isle Royale, I was on the VoyagerII ferry and we started seeing the birds as we entered North Gap and Washington Harbor, and I learned Cormorants and Merganzers for the first time! Now I associate them with Isle Royale much more than any other place, even though I have seen them elsewhere.

My first mergansers were also IR, unfortunately cormorants are an invasive species and wreck havoc wherever they go.
