What is the Best Route

OK, I'm on the first boat in May and I want to do something a little different. Depending on the wind direction and forecast, I'd like to paddle from McCargo Cove to Washington Harbor or Malone Bay to Washington Harbor.

If you've done either or both routes, besides established sites like Big Todd, Little Todd, and Hugginin Cove (I've camped at all three), which is the better route for backcountry camping, open beaches, etc.

I'm not going to push it, I've got a week to do it, and can always plan a couple days layover in case the weather turns bad. And, if the forecast isn't perfect, I can always skip the trip and base camp at Malone and outfish JohnH at Siskwit Lake!

And, it would be in your best interest to suggest where I should go! (I know, it's going to be too good a straight line to ignore). Cuz, when I'm fishing IR, "Fish Fear Me!" or was it "Trish Fears Me?" I could never get that right.

If you go Washinton Harbor to Malone, you have the wind at your back and there are places to pull out.
The North Side, LTH to Hugginin very few takes outs if the weather gets nasty.
Plus you have meeting us at Malone to look forward to.
