Torpified, I am trying to remember where that section of trail is. Is it on the trail to Malone Bay?

Chief54, I could not make out what your picture was until I clicked on it to enlarge it. Very nice shot! I am sure you will take many more awesome pictures on your "two week assignment" to the Isle!

that's the one place it can't be, because I've never been! (Hoping to redress that in a few weeks, though.) I *think* it's the Indian Portage Trail, between Lake Ritchie and the Ridge.

Although I have been on that trail it did not look familiar. Probably because it has been so long ago and/or I am getting older and my memory is not what it used to be!
