I concur - we saw no evidence of an algae bloom on Lake Richie when we paddled through on July 22.

Dry

That's my update from hiking Wash Creek-N Desor-Little Todd-S Desor-Wash creek

Most beaver ponds are down at least 2 feet, rare to see water flowing out of them. Planked areas are even a mix of muddy and dry. Areas were we'd have obtained water in years past aren't showing anything. Water at S Desor tasted mucky to many of us, using separate purification methods.

Now there is a bloom on Chickenbone, which is my first stop on my itinerary this wednesday. Time for a change in plan!
