This is a screen capture from this morning, 3/4/2022. Wonder what kind of critter made these tracks?

I was wondering the same thing! I check the web cameras everyday and I noticed some other tracks on Wednesday(?). I thought about posting a screenshot then. In fact, I noticed some tracks on the ice by Mott Island too.

Looks like two large but different sizes. I'll go with sasquatch stalking a polar bear.

A closer examination shows tracks along 5 or 6 different paths, all converging:

Likely wolves. Those look like the trails of several single wolves coming and going.

Here's a closer view from this afternoon. Check out the left set of the tracks going vertically up from the bottom -- that looks like a canine trail to me.

How about these tracks? This is from February 7th. My first guess was moose, but they have a snowshoe look to them. Could be, the winter research team got to the island on January 22nd. Maybe somebody went for a snowshoe hike.
