Post Hike Showers

I'll be arriving on IR in 12 DAYS! So excited
. Quick question as I gather, sort and resort my gear. Showers at RH, what's the current price and are towels included for the price? What to make sure I pack accordingly. I've read the 2022 Greenstone, but there's no mention. Thanks!

$6 for 5 min. Didn’t ask about towels since we had them, but they have had them in the past for a buck or two more. Hopefully someone else has current info.

Last year, I rented a towel at Rock Harbor for $2.50 when I bought my shower tokens. There was a laundry hamper inside the store to drop off your damp towel after you were done with it.

They are totally worth every penny. You can get a towel and a bar of soap (think like a hotel bar). Return bin is by the laundry.

Just another option - the municipal campground in Grand Marais MN will let you drop in and use their showerhouse for $3. If you have a large group, coming off the island to Grand Portage, you might consider the cost savings (and the ability to leave towels, clean clothes, and toiletries in your vehicle). But the routing has to fit your plans. I have no idea whether this is possible anywhere on the Michigan side. Maybe the municipal campground in Hancock MI? Which is a great place to stay if you are taking the RangerIII.
