Algae blooms in Richie and Chickenbone

The park service is now reporting algae blooms in both Lake Richie and Chickenbone Lake.

Bummer. We were hoping that we'd get lucky and get a night in at WCB in a couple of weeks. That's a site that we haven't visited yet.

Depending on how you route yourself, there may be ok water at Lake Lesage or Lake Livermore, or McCargoe Cove, within 2 miles of WCB campsite. Maybe you can work with that and manage your fill-ups to have essentially a dry camp at WCB?

I'll take a look at options. We'd either be coming from Lane or Moskey.
