The ice is going quickly. Washington harbor appears open all the way down to Beaver Island, Siskiwit Bay has really opened up in the past week or so. May 9th should be a go. The VII is in the water and running well and plans are to have her in Grand Portage by late this coming week.

Most of the ice is gone, I guess no ice fishing this year!!!

I don't think you are right. I just checked the satellite image. Are you sure you did not look at last summer's photos?

Appraently there is still snow in the woods and ice in Tobin Harbor for the folks going out Saturday.
