Are there any other online distance charts others than the main one I've seen here? I'd like to be able to calculate Windigo and some towers distances. I'm guess that maybe some of the books published may help... does anyone know of any other online resouces or have any book suggestions?

What I need at this time are the following distances
* Island Mine to Windigo
* RH to Mt. Franklin
* Mt. Franklin to Mt. Ojibway
* Mt. Franklin to Lookout Louise
I will be ordering the trail map soon, and will look into a book or two about the island as well, but if any of you can provide me with the any of the requested distances I would really appreciate it, thanks!

* Island Mine to Windigo (Washington Creek) - 6.6 mi (per chart)
* RH to Mt. Franklin - around 5.5 mi.
* Mt. Franklin to Mt. Ojibway - around 2.0 mi.
* Mt. Franklin to Lookout Louise - around 4.8 mi

Be advised that Lookout Louise views are broken up by tree tops, brush, etc. I was just there at the end of May and it's tough to even get a good picture, much less a panorama. You can bushwack up an old trail/moose path NE from there, but I still could not get a very clear view.

Thank you all so much. I feel sort of silly not realizing that Washington Creek was the camp for Windigo!

Now I know...

You can use
google maps distance calculator. I think its the better way of calculating distance. It can help you to measure distance accurately. It is my best suggestion to you.
