Water Taxi on August 28th

Just to let you know that water taxi is unavailable (I am taking this to be fully booked) on August 28th and I had tried to reserve this about 3 weeks ago.
I was going to Chippewa Harbor that day to start my trip.
So instead I am spending the night in Rock Harbor and take the taxi to C.H. in the am (just losing one night on the trail).
Lesson learned for next year.

Not sure what time the taxi leaves on the 29th but we're scheduled for that day. Two younger girls along so say hola if we cross paths.

i was told 0830 - depending on wx and water conditions.

Ahhh, we won't see you on the taxi then. Maybe on the trail. We'll be hitting the taxi when the Queen gets to Rock Harbor. We were told the taxi would leave shortly thereafter.
Just curious... did you get a ticket? We got a fee schedule in the mail a couple weeks ago but no ticket.

No ticket yet....in theory as I gave them my credit card number - one should arrive in the next week or so.
Hopefully we will see each other on the trail!
I will post here when my ticket shows up.

Hmmmm. Mine must have been lost in the mail. I just talked to the lodge and they have my reservation so nothing more is needed. My dates were wrong, by the way. We're on the taxi on the 29th provided the weather cooperates.
The countdown is on!

and I can't think straight...my reservation is for the 29th as well at 830...

you guys got me worried about the water taxi so I called and they had my reservation wrong. Had me down for 2 people 2 canoes, need it for 4 people 2 canoes, and of course the price just went up another $16.
I think our boat can fit 2 more people and gear(no watercraft) if anyone wants to hitch a ride. August 31 Rock Harbor to Chippewa Harbor.
Can't wait I'm just 2 weeks out
