Hi all,

We are headed up to Rock Harbor this weekend to do a circumnavigation of the island. This will be our first time on I.R.
We are experienced at paddle camping and paddling open water.

Our load is separated into a bunch of smallish drybags. We can fit all the bags into a couple of packs for the ferry ride over, but once our kayaks are loaded we can't take the big empty packs with us.

Are there any facilities for storing these empty packs at Rock Harbor while we paddle around the island?

You can take your bags to the Lodge, and for a fee they will hold them until you return. I don't remember what the fee is, but I don't think it was too much.
