For those who go to Canoecopia, the Park Service will have a booth in the Entrance area, so make sure you stop by and introduce yourself.
Captain Don, who posts here and owns the Voyageur and Wenonah, will have a booth inside the hall, so make sure you stop by and introduce yourself or say hello to Captain Don!!!
So who is planning on going?

I've wanted to go to Canoecopia since I first talked to Johnhens, and maybe this is the final reason to go! Road trip!
Johnhens: what days will you be there? I'll coordinate my visit accordingly...

For those of you that don't know...
Justine Curgenven from the UK thats released 4 "This is the Sea" kayaking videos is planning on releasing her new video "This is Canoeing" at Canoecopia this year. Supposed to be an incredible film.
Come out and hang out with everyone...it's a great time.

Damon

Just curious if Canoecopia includes vendors of products that Rutabaga doesn't carry and compete with brands they do?++++

I hope to be at Canoecopia on Saturday, and will make sure to say hello to Don and introduce myself to the NPS folks! Thanks for the tip!

Floor plan is up. IRNP is next to Capt. Don, though I think IRNP is supposed to be in the Outside area.

Just a reminder, Canoecopia is coming up.
IRNP will have a booth, according to the floorplan, set up next to Captain Don and Grand Portage Isle Royale Lines in the main hall. Make sure to stop by and say hi and book your trip for this year with Captain Don.

Canoecopia went well, Captain Don at the Voyuageur booth and Ranger Blust, niners and myself had a great time hearing of adventures on Isle Royale, particualrly from the folks who were there in the 60's and 70's. We spoke to many people who had an interest in going and/or knew of IR but weren't quite sure where it was. It was also good to see the smiles of familiar faces from folks met on IR.
Spring and summer will be here soon enough!

John...
We missed you! We were absolutely slammed at the Pyranha/P&H booth and weren't able to get around to check anything out.
Oh well!
Damon...
