Well, being in SE Michigan, I know you have a ways to go to find some decent hills...I don't think you should worry about the climbs too much....just make sure to get out with the weight in your pack and have your body ready. Have a great trip!

All the campsites have an outhouse available. However, interior sites, like lake desire and west chickenbone, sometimes lack TP......make sure to bring a roll, and seal it I'm a zip lock bag.....trust me....

I was in moskey basin on memorial day 2000, and it was cold....low 40s at night, but the wind cools it down more. I had a 0 degree bag, and was happy that night. I always take that bag to ISRO, because if it gets too warm, I can always unzip it.....but, if its a cold night, you will wish you brought ...

You should be fine with a 10 degree bag. Although, shelters on the lake, thinking of moskey and chippewa harbor, can get mighty cold with a wind. Is your bag a mummy bag, where you can keep your head warm?
