It is a compelling mystery as to what has been keeping the Winter Study group from being able to update. There may be some major wolf movement across frozen Superior besides the sad example of Isabella. Check everyday waiting for any news.

There was one layover day caused by rain where I put the table up against the outside of the shelter where the front shelter overhang provided a nice cover. Its was quite comfortable sitting at the table, back against the shelter, watching the rain while having shelter from the weather overhead ...

I've never gotten a signal on the island but this doesn't mean much since I have trouble getting a signal here at home. Thought I might get a signal on the north side from Canada but no luck. I won't bring my phone next time. Others may have had different experiences with different carriers.
