Thread naming standards for Trip Reports (Please review!)
I may be in a minority, but it would certainly be helpful to see some "what, where, when" info in the subject lines for Pictures and Trip Reports. Without it, I find it difficult to do research for future adventures, or just return to items that I previously found interesting or want to identify for a friend. Thanks.

Re: Please help us out with what, when, where in subject lin
I 'stickified' this request. Please try to include either the trails or campsites in your TR title, so that folks looking to research experiences can better sort them out. Bonus points for you if you can include dates, but I realize the box for titles is small..
I'll edit titles of new posts, when room provides, to include this while folks get accustomed to the tradition..
Thanks!

My name is Richard and I endorse this request (and Tom's fix action).

Please follow this subject namingstandard for your trip report threads. It will help people easily identify trips they may want to read details about to plan for themselves, and help them find it quick & easy!
Keep in mind you are limited to a certain amount of characters in the subject, so abbreviate or be brief when possible!
- Start with: TR:, means, "Trip report"
- Continue with: Short Date format, year, such as 6/2-6/5, 2012
- If you are paddling, include [Paddling] at this point in the subject
- End with: [Trail or trip details], such as [Feldtman loop] or [Windigo to McCargoe via Minong]
Keep in mind you are limited to a certain amount of characters in the subject, so abbreviate or be brief when possible!

NOTE: Please remember to include the "year" when entering the date in the subject line.
