I'm sure many of you may have received the email, but to provide the maximum amount of visibility for the project, I'm posting this here.

Per the Isle Royale Wolf/Moose email:

Essentially, the project is looking for financial support to finish up the research conducted from the 2012 study.

There's fun stuff given for each donation, such as copies of the documentary & postcards, and at certain levels you get more incentives. As of this writing, the project is 29% funded.

Now, a personal plea: we all know the status of the wolves on Isle Royale, and how their fate (and, essentially, a pivot point for the island) is in limbo. The Wolf/moose study that has been going on for twice as long as I've been alive is what helped bring this to fact to light. Most of us well-traveled Isle Royale-rs have been in contact with the wolf/moose study in some way: whether it's been reading the book on the the VII over, or having a chat with Rolf Peterson himself, we all know the impact of the study. Likewise, the individuals who make this study happen need our support for their sacrifices. It's a critical part of the Isle Royale culture, as far as I'm concerned, and I encourage you to support it if you feel the same way.
