Options: Windigo to Rock Harbor

Doing some thinking about possible end-to-end routes. I know it's not rocket science, but would like some feedback on a couple areas. A possible route:

Sea Plane to Windigo, then...

~ Feldtmann
~ Siskiwit Bay
~ South Desor
~ Hatchet Lake
~ McCargo (via Minong trail)
~ Moskey Basin
~ Rock Harbor

Sea Plane back to Houghton

I've thought about going from RH to Windigo, but it doesn't seem to work out as well. I want to spend a night at Moskey, I'd like to have a layover day at either McCargo or Moskey and I think I want to hike the Minong trail from Hatchet. (What is the trail like in that section?)

Thoughts about the route, especially going west to east?

I did this route last summer, although I stayed at Island Mine, Todd Harbor and Daisy Farm. There is a trip report posted. The stretch of the Minong between Hatchet and McCargo is pretty straight forward with the exception of open ledge just outside McCargo.

Dates aren't set yet, but probably leaning toward late June to sometime in July. Neither August or September will work with our schedules.
