If I am on extended trips, packaging some FD meals is best option. Mountain House
is my favorite "go to" brand and Emergency Essentials/Be Prepared has a current sale
on some of their #10 cans at 40 to 50%, I have ordered a bunch myself and my money
is on it that I will use sometime in next 25 years.
