250 lives lost over a 5 day storm. 19 boats went down on the Great Lakes.

There is a monument at the scenic turnout on the Lake Huron shore right by my house for the ships lost in this storm.

I saw a special on the 1913 Storm and the wrecks off of Huron Bay and the National Marine Sanctuary that was created off Huron Bay.
