angleworm lake, or other backcountry recommendations.

Post by brownshoes »

I've seen mention of backcountry camping at Angleworm Lake. Any tips on getting there?

Also, if you would like to reveal any other personally favored backcountry camping areas, please inform.

Thanks!!!!

For anyone interested in visiting Angleworm Lake: Near the middle of the lake, off of the south side of the greenstone trail, there is a noticeably more open (much less densely forested) slab of rock that is at least a couple hundred feet wide which gives you a pretty open shot south toward the lake off of the greenstone trail. Closer to the lake it gets a little thick before it opens up again, but it's no more than a ten minute jaunt.
