I used different logic. I thought it would be a bit odd for someone to allocate 10 days with the end goal being Little Todd. I figured she made it as far as Little Todd, realized she needed to head back to RH and posted her shelter note on the way back. McCargoe would be my second choice, if the rules allowed that.

Midwest Ed, you have either been in the lone shelter at Todd Harbor or you are a good guesser! Either way you are correct! Your are up for the next mystery picture.

I am posting the picture I would have used as a hint, as it is a beautiful sunset at Todd Harbor.

treeplanter, it is one of the many beautiful locations, among many, on Isle Royale! I am surprised that you have visited the Isle 11 times and not been to Todd Harbor yet.

There is only one shelter at Todd Harbor and I have only been lucky enough to get it once in my three times camping there. But it is a nice, peaceful area, whether you are in a tent or a shelter!

Actually, I've been to Todd Harbor, but not to the campground. We're planning a kayak trip for late summer. Not sure where we're going yet, but maybe we'll end up at Todd.

Even though Todd Harbor is my favorite CG I deduced the answer by trying to think like an 18 YO girl.

And this young mother did take her 6 month old daughter to Isle Royale. They were the talk of the island while I was there.
