My absolute favorite sunrise Ingo. Nothing beats a Three Mile sunrise from the boulders by campsite/Shelter 11.

Just got back from a quick trip to the island. Cool to cold, some light rain, but basically dry. Virtually no bugs at the NE part of the island. Mainly kayaked, but some hiking too. Here's one from Mt. Franklin taken on Friday, June 2nd.

Edit: The leaves on the aspen and birch were about 1/2 size and very light green, which contrasts nicely with the dark green of the spruce and fir. The Thimbleberry's were just beginning to leaf out. Most were bare. The moose have been browsing big-time on top of the Greenstone. Both the aspen and fir saplings have been browsed to death.

Another picture from my recent trip. This is on Porter Island, in the far NE corner of Tobin Harbor.

This is just a capture from the Mott Island web cam but I thought it was a somewhat unique view of remarkably still water in the Rock Harbor channel.

This was taken during the first week of June, 2017. Still some sizable snow piles in the shade. This pic was taken on the Duncan Bay side of Blake Point, several hundred yards from the point itself.

Wild flower that had collected rain overnight. Taken on 6/26/17 on the Greenstone between Chickenbone E and the Daisy Farm trail.
