trail and bug conditions--Feldtmann

I head off for the island on June 24-30 to hike feldtmann-Siskiwit-I.M. [may or may not stay there]-Hugginin and Windigo. Any of the latest news on trail conditions and bugs would be greatly appreciated.

Black Flies were relentless near water on the Keweenaw this past week.

Thanks. Not that it will change my preparation at all, I am curious about the Feldtmann bug and trail conditions too.

My month old bug info won't mean anything (almost none). Hopefully the trails overall will have dried out a bit, but expect beaver flooded trails around Siskiwit Bay. And maybe still on the lower part between Siskiwit Bay and Island Mine. The other trails will just depend on rain.
