Payment Method's Accepted on IR
Newbie question for sure, but I don't want to be stuck needing something from the store, having to pay a fee, catching an unexpected water taxi, etc. in either Rock Harbor or Windigo. It looks like cash is king. Does anyone know if that's still the case or could a person bring along a credit card as backup to cash?

Re: Payment Method's Accepted on IR
I always bring both. Everyone takes credit cards (NPS, stores, restaurants, etc.). But if their link to the mainland is down they might not be able to run a card. This year at the store it took someone about 5 mins to get a card transaction to go through--I was glad I had cash. Also bring some smaller bills, $20 max.
