Should I/Can I get reservations for the Voyager II ahead of time If we plan to travel from Rock Harbor to Windigo in June 17th? Is this a popular trip where it could fill up?
Also, has anyone done this? Anything to expect or plan for?

You should get reservations ahead of time. I got mine last January. Just go to their web page to reserve.

Like Nick said, get reservations. Any boat can fill up. And they don't normally deal with the payment aspect on the boat.
I haven't done it, but it's not uncommon. Just be at the dock and ready to go on time (i.e. before departure time).
