Transportation to Beaver Island in late September

Post by Kelly »

If a person wanted to spend a night or two on Beaver Island in late September or early October and didn't bring over their own boat, what are the watercraft options for getting there from Windigo?

I think you're out of luck after the store closes.

You can rent a canoe from the folks who run the Voyager.

Hmmm, didn't think about that. May be a little pricey if you have to pay to transport it out or back, but would be worth checking with them. Certainly should work for 1 day--they drop it off on their way out, and pick you up the next day heading home.
