If you can, try to hit Lane Cove. Its a dead end but its my favorite place on IR. Cove is wait deep for atleast 25-30 yards out. Perfect to take a dip after a long hike. It was plenty warm last year during May.

My buddies and I will be on the island the first week of June as well. Our trip plan is more focused around the south side of the island, but maybe well cross paths somewhere!
